Stumpwater Media Group is a proud supporter of various organizations, including non-profit entities. We have also thrown our financial support behind the local car scene, including certain cars and coffee monthly events as well as special community shows.
Currently, we support the following:
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds mortgage-free smart homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Each home is designed to address the unique needs of each individual. Smart homes host a myriad of features such as automated doors and lighting, wider halls and doorways, special showers to accommodate wheelchairs, automatic door openers, cabinets, counters, and stove tops that can be raised and lowered, back-up generators, and central heating and air conditioning systems that can be controlled by tablets. These homes help our most severely injured veterans and first responders to reclaim their day-to-day independence.
Mercy House exists for the sole purpose of glorifying God through service to orphaned and abandoned boys. We strive to point others to Him as we meet the needs of the children He places in our care. We provide food, shelter, education, medical and dental care, and a structured family environment for our residents.
Staff prays with them and for them daily as we seek God’s permanent plan for their lives, either reunification with their birth families or a fresh start through adoption.
Lastly, beginning with our first full year of operation, we choose a local organization to support. For 2022, we made a donation to Esteamed Coffee in Cary, NC. Not your ordinary coffee shop by any means as this store hires people with IDD, visual, and communication differences/disabilities. With an average unemployment rate of approximately 70 percent for affected individuals, this small business makes an impactful difference.
